During moving my apartment i have been pretty lazy. Therefore i will now share a new travel impression with you. This year i will not head towards SEA in summer and because of that i am a bit sad. But nevertheless I can just wallow in memories by looking at my travel pictures. This one shows the entrance to Tanjung Puting National Park on Borneo. The visit to this National Park is one of my most impressive travel experience.

On our way from Denver to Nevada, we did not only visit the National Parks in Utah and Arizona, we also drove up Pikes Peak, a over 4000 meter high mountain on the east side of the Rocky Moutains, which can be rosed totally by car.

Two years ago, I visited Canada in February and went skiing at Banff Sunshine Village and at Lake Louise. I made this picture at Sunshine right after a snowfall ended. You can still see the last snowflake falling.

If you are in Ubud you do not necessarily have to book a tour for hiking. Indeed, there are several nice hiking tours around Ubud in the Canyons and Rice Terraces, which can easily be done on your own. One of those can be found, if you are at Central Market just walk westward on the Jalan Raya Ubud. At the Pura Gunung Lebah you head northward and follow the Campuhan Ridge Walk. You can see various fauna, lots of butterflies and nice views to the canyons.
Karsa Kafe is a nice stop for some refreshments.
